Asshole Greek Jellyfish and Drivers; Nafplion and Chicken Meatballs: Nafplion Day 15

We - when I say we, I mean Jess, decided that we would be skipping the fortress in the morning and going to the beach.  This does not make sense to me since every where we were supposed to be going we needed to "get there early before it gets too hot," so...

We headed to Tolo Beach - much again to Malcolm's dismay, it was clothed.

This beach was definitely more like home.  There was lots of sand.  The parking lot was also sand and by 10:30 was basically full (that's our fault, it is a holiday and then the weekend).  At the time of parking, Jess is throwing up signs like she's fucking crip and it made no sense, so, other people tried to steal into spots.  We backed in so that we could drive out of the sand with our tiny front wheel drive car.

After about three seconds, they were all over the rocks that were in the water.  Isla first - walking away from everyone and going to do her own thing.

There was a rock in the back that they wanted to climb up to jump off - after checking it out, there was about 4.5 or 5 feet of water, so I said sure - and that was the end of it.  It was Neil and Malcolm for a good 20 minutes climbing up and jumping off.  Then Isla came over and all three were on.  I told Neil he should go get the gopro that we have and use it to film jumping off - he went.  When he came back he said Duncan was stung all over his leg and on his face.  Do these things not sting the locals?  Gladly, we had that stuff from last night to take the initial discomfort away.

We stayed in the water for a while throwing a ball around.  At some point Jess kept saying that Duncan wanted to leave but that we couldn't because there was a string of cars, two rows, along the middle of the lot and everyone was blocked in - so I sai, guess we are staying until later, and she said that that was not the plan.  Oh well.

She went to get more sunscreen but sized up the lot to see if we could go and she decided that we should, so we all grabbed our shit and got to the cars.  It was kinda annoying but I think I have been in worse scenarios.

On the way back, it took us on this road that the incline was really high - it was so high, that when we got back on the regular road, the ac was spitting out out air for a minute while it recuperated - thankfully we didn't have one of those 69 hp cars.  They also like to tailgate here.  I'm driving nice because I am in another country but if people keep FA they gonna FO.

We went home and did the usually afternoon stuff...sleep, food, iPads, etc.  We headed in to Nafplion to get dinner and walk around a little. Not too much to say about the dinner - it was pretty good.  I probably should have gotten something else but I got the executive chef's pasta - not that it was bad but I think I should have gotten lamb.  It was one of the worker's name day so they gave the kids some candy.

That's chocolate not jellyfish stings.

Glenn got chicken meatballs - but apparently thought there were some commas in the description, because his expectations were something completely different.  After dinner, we took a walk...

Neil beat me - but to be fair, I didn't get a good hit.  But he did beat me - lol.

It's 11 pm and we are listening to the Liverpool game.  Explain to me why I cannot stream my NBC Sports?  Isn't that the whole point of streaming - that you can get the services that you paid for when you are elsewhere?  So fucking dumb - or I need to get a VPN so they don't know that I am here?  It's really frustrating.  We are off to some other spot in Greece tomorrow - guess you'll find out when I do.
